Vestas is growing and you might be our new Technical Planner, digging into the technical aspects of the planning for our Main Component Technicians in the Nordic region. For this position you may be based in either Malmö or Videbæk.

Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas Northern and Central Europe the best place to work.
The Service department is responsible for service, service sales and maintenance of the wind turbines within the Nordic countries. Vestas is growing with many new windfarms being built. To facilitate this growth, we are looking for new additions to our Planning department, as part of Service. As a Technical Planner, you will be located in Malmö or Videbæk and be part of the Nordic team, responsible for the technical planning of main component tasks such as gearboxes and generators in the area. You will also be an important part in securing and delivering products and service to meet our customers' expectations.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Planner your primary tasks will be:
Technical creation and review of work orders before the orders are released to the technicians
Produce accurate technical documentation and work instructions from our internal systems to the technicians
Define the resources needed for the different tasks regarding technicians, such as materials and tools
Technical approval of the service order for completed work
Monitor inventory and availability of materials and tools
Provide general technical guidance to the staff in the office and the technicians in the field
General office tasks
Qualifications
On the professional side, we would like you to have:
Related work experience within a technical field, preferably from wind or other heavy mechanical industry
Good IT skills and experience with information processing in databases/planning tools
Fluency in English, knowledge in another Nordic language
Hands-on work experience from a technical trade is an advantage
Experience with SAP is an advantage
Competencies
As person you are/have:
Structured and organised with an ability to communicate with many different stakeholders, as main component requires around 200 working hours and a lot of people involved
An ability to prioritize and handle diverse workloads
An understanding of and interest in new technology and digging into technical documentation
An aptitude for numbers with the ability to analyse and identify trends
Confident in sharing your opinion
