Technical Planning Team Lead

Vestas North and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas North and Central Europe the best place to work.
The technical and commercial planning department is a technical department responsible for supporting North-West in the technical preparation of service orders and quotations, as well as supporting our technicians in the field on active tasks. The department focus on continuous development of technical skills and uses these to support the organization across borders in the region.


Responsibilities
As our new Team Leader, you will be supervising a group of Technical Planners. Their job is to technically plan the work for our Service Technicians out on the field and focus on optimizing the performance of the turbines in the region. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for developing the team to meet the requirements of an ever-changing and growing business. You will also play an important part in securing and delivering products and service to meet our customers' expectations.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will be:
People management of the Technical Planning team, including hire and fire
People development
Ensure team delivers to key criteria and KPIs in Service
Participate in developing the strategy for Technical and Commercial Planning and in turn deliver on the set strategy
Technical planning is responsible for optimizing the overall performance of the turbine
Effectively follow up on performance of turbine sites, identify counter measures and initiate corrective actions where necessary



Qualifications
Experience with people management
Experience of change management, improvement processes such as LEAN and optimization projects
Good at stakeholder management
You are experienced in all Microsoft office programs
Experience with SAP or Sales-Force will be a big plus
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
