Arbetsbeskrivning
Are you an expert at providing focus for a team of skilled engineers? Do you love discussing scalable online infrastructure? Do tidy Jira backlogs, colourful web whiteboards and team collaboration spark joy in your heart?
As a Technical Producer you will join Toca Days, our most ambitious project yet. We are building a friendly multiplayer world for children celebrating the excitement and quirkiness of everyday life. A 3D world where kids will be able to play and explore in real time through their own avatar.
Your mission? Join the team building Toca Days’ scalable online platform. Be their rock all the way from concept to release, and keep everyone around you up to date with the progress.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of a highly technical team of embedded backend-, online-, tools- and infrastructure engineers. Together you will build a stable online platform that scales to support millions of simultaneous users. In this adventure you will be the one to provide clarity, focus and priorities. You’ll support the team within our established agile processes.
Once the game is live your focus will be to manage the systems you’ve built. You will make sure they run efficiently and are developed further based on player and project needs.
You’ll work closely with the Technical Director to manage requirements, development and releases of tech initiatives. You’ll report to the project’s Lead Producer and be part of a fabulous production team. Together you will establish roadmaps and scope estimates, and you’ll of course also run sprint planning sessions and retrospectives with your team.
Last but not least, you’ll collaborate closely with the game development team and other functions in the studio to bring our game to life using the latest technologies.
Is this you?
You have a strong technical understanding, and although you won’t be doing any coding yourself, it is vital that you can understand and discuss technical and complex systems with the team.
You have experience managing or working in highly technical teams and have probably worked with agile methodologies since the dawn of time. You are an excellent communicator and you appreciate iterating your way forward.
