Technical Producer - Toca Life World

As the Technical Producer for the Toca Life World Core team you’ll be part of future-proofing the app, making sure it stays around for years to come. Toca Life World has grown beyond our wildest imagination so we need to make sure it is a scalable platform for the future functionality and new content we want to create.

You’ll be the one to set up, maintain and develop the team processes and a healthy core team whose mission is to turn Toca Life World into a stable and scalable app. You lead the team and support them in building a healthy and sustainable work environment.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead a team consisting of approximately 12 people (developers and QAs) all focusing on making Toca Life World a more stable app than it is today. You’ll ensure they have a healthy, happy working environment.

You’ll make sure we have an updated roadmap and backlog that covers the initiatives set by the team. You’ll plan the work for the team based on tech priorities and the above mentioned roadmap. You’ll assess the risks and be in charge of the budget for the core team projects.

You’ll work closely with the Lead Producer, Product Owner and Technical Director, as well as other teams to make sure the projects are aligned with the stakeholder expectations.
Is this you?
You are an experienced Producer who has mainly focused on the technical aspect of game development. You know how to communicate with both developers and non-techies alike.

You’re great at planning and providing structure for your team, but also helping the wider studio understand those plans.

You’re an empathetic leader who knows how to maintain a healthy and happy team. And you believe in the power play!

This position is full time and based in our Stockholm office with a hybrid working model (part office, part working from home). We apply a 6 months probationary period. As we’re an international company, with over 20 nationalities working here, and millions of users all over the world, you have to be fluent in English. Your application should therefore be in English.
