About this opportunity
The Cost of Sales Program at BNEW is a cross-functional program with the prime target of supporting the organization by ensuring that Ericsson has the most cost-competitive product and service portfolio in the industry! The program is engaged in optimizing the cost structure throughout the product life cycle; from design, production, and delivery to installation and aftermarket. The main focus area is reporting product costs and savings for the PAN product portfolio. To support our work, we have our own developed tool for calculating product costs. We influence and make a difference by providing data insights to product management and product development!
We are looking for a candidate that will take the role of Product Cost Controller for the Enclosure, Power & Site Products portfolio. The Portfolio is large and complex and therefore we are looking for a candidate that can take ownership of developing and maintaining the Product cost data for this key portfolio.
Together with the Cost of Sales (CoS) Driver you will drive the Product Cost reduction target setting process and report progress to key stakeholders in cross-functional stakeholder meetings. The Product Cost Controller will advocate for a focus on CoS/TK reduction activities and highlight business cases with a good return to secure decisions for required budget and resource allocation.
Key stakeholders include Strategic Product Managers, PDU Line Managers, PDU Program/Project managers, and Sourcing and Supply.
We believe the right candidate is analytical, structured, result-oriented and has a solid understanding and interest in data analysis and Site Product Portfolio. The candidate thrives in taking initiatives and driving activities to completion.
The Product Cost Controller is working in the Product Development Group Site.
What you will do
Key responsibilities and tasks for Product Cost Controller for Enclosure, Power & Site Products:
Calculation of Product Cost for the complete portfolio.
Ensure Supplier prices with support from Souring Business Partner
Analysis of deviations between forecasts
Analysis of deviations between forecasts and actual.
Contribute to benchmarking against competitors and other industries
Promote knowledge sharing of best practices
Maintain the product scope in PRIM
You will bring
Experience in Data analytics.
Product Development and Product Life Cycle Management knowledge.
Ericsson Radio Systems Portfolio knowledge or similar experiences.
Communication and Presentation skills.
An established network and understanding across the Design, Supply and Sourcing organizations
Experience from interaction with design responsible managers.
Personal drive and ability to plan own work.
Education: BSc in engineering or business or equivalent
Min years of experience: 5 years
Excellent proficiency working in English, both written and oral
