Technical Product Expert - Mechanical Design

We are looking for a Technical Product Expert, with mechanical design skills to join our team in Lund. You will be part of a global team within Liquid Food Solutions, in Processing Solutions and Equipment. You will have the overall technical responsibility for our products at suppliers and be the main contact person for our suppliers regarding technical support incl. pressure vessel directives.
What you will do
Your main focus is to work with mechanical design for tanks and vessels
A big part of your work is to contribute with your expertise knowledge to develop our tank design guidelines, drawings, specifications and contribute to R&D projects
You will execute supplier activities in close collaboration with Global Supplier Management, using applicable process, policies and tools
You will be part of supplier evaluation from a technical point of view
You will be the overall responsible for technical validation of our products, at existing and new suppliers
You will be the focal point of contact for our suppliers, regarding technical specifications and pressure vessel directives
When needed, you will support in issue resolution cases, quotation and order support
You make your acquired know-how available by improving and sharing knowledge within Tetra Pak

We believe you have
We believe you have a Bachelor or Master´s degree in Mechanical engineering
To be successful you need to have solid experience (>2 years) of mechanical design
You are an excellent communicator who easily can work cross-functionally with people on all levels and cultures, and you build trust, both internally and externally
Experience with tank manufacturing and pressure vessel directives is considered a merit
You have a strong personal drive and are self-going, where you persistently drive for results, high quality performance of our products and always with business and customers in mind. To handle change, and to manoeuvre complex situations comes natural to you.
You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing
You have at least basic knowledge in Mechanical design tools (ex Inventor). It is beneficial if you have knowledge in pressure vessel calculations, for example Codeware Compress.
