Technical Product Manager

We are Nortical!
Nortical improves battery efficiency. We do this by analyzing live battery data in order to compile battery insights that we use to give advice on how to utilize them better in the future.

We are smack in the middle of the creation of a completely new value chain. As the world is electrifying, batteries are becoming the centerpiece of both existing and new business models and products. You will work in the very center of this change together with a diverse team of like-minded individuals, people truly taking an active role in shaping the future of electrification and how batteries will be used.

We are now looking for someone with a passion for software engineering management. As we expand, we need a dedicated role to keep the bird's eye view on the product development, act as the glue between the product team and the wider organisation, and be ever vigilant of needs in communication and documentation, to minimise friction in the product development workflow.
What You´ll Do
As a start-up team, we all have diverse tasks, but your main focus will be:
Managing our ongoing customer projects regarding strategy, prioritisation, and planning.
Being the organizing force and communicational glue between the product team and the wider organisation.
Make sure project participants understand and have the information they need to fulfill their tasks.
Continuously anchor ongoing work in current project status and goals.
Maintain and document team workflow, goals, scenarios, risks, and mitigations, etc.
Produce information for both internal and external project orientation.
Represent the interests and needs of the product team in organisational questions.

Key Qualifications

-Proven efficiency in software project management
Time and resource management
Long and short term planning
Deep understanding of agile software development flow

-Excellent technical foundation, and an accompanying will to understand the product.
-Great interpersonal & communication skills, written and verbal.
-Experience working in software engineering teams.
-Curiosity in understanding stakeholder needs.
-Confident working in a start-up environment where we sometimes have to find our own way in uncharted territory.
-Self-motivated in your problem-solving approach. You should like to learn new things and conduct experiments.
- Full professional proficiency in English (Swedish not required).
Bonus Skills
Experience with B2B software delivery
Acquainted with cloud architecture principles and core concepts
Experience with the Product Owner role (even though this isn't strictly such a position)
Interest in battery technology and electrification
Swedish speaker
