Technical Product Manager

An unique opportunity has arisen for a new technology area within the Research & Development department at Wellspect Healthcare. We are now looking for a Technical Product Manager.

DESCRIPTION
Your duties are many and varied with the main focus on the technical development, post launch maintenance and regulatory compliance issues within our electronic product assortment.

You will:
- be the technical expert in our organization for this technology
- manage Technical Requirement Specifications and Risk Management
- review technical documentation and designs
- handle verification and validation plans and activities
- be the point of contact for external development and production partners
- coordinate consultants and external development activities
- interact with internal and external stakeholders such as Marketing, Procurement, Quality and Regulatory Affairs

You will be responsible for implementing procedures and guidelines to facilitate regulatory compliance, maintenance activities and continuous improvement throughout the complete product system life cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have an academic educational background within Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded systems, Mechatronics or equivalent and at least 5-10 years of experience from development of embedded systems. Your background is ideally from a medical device company or another highly regulated industry handling products with electronics, mechanics and embedded as well as stand-alone software. It is an advantage if you have experience within electromechanical design and components. You have worked closely with external serial production sites and component suppliers and have experience in the design transfer process. You are probably familiar with regulatory requirements and regulations for electronic and software products, such as ISO 60601 and IEC 62304.
