The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Components team within Business Unit Liquid Food at Processing Equipment AB is recruiting a global Technical Product Manager to own and develop the product portfolio for mechanical drives and motion. Your portfolio will include motors, gears, mechanical drives, bearings, and bushings.
The team is responsible for our global product portfolio of OEM components such as pumps, valves and electrical components. The portfolio thus includes components purchased from selected preferred suppliers. The team drives the continuous improvement of the OEM portfolio to ensure competitiveness and to support business strategies whilst complying to Tetra Pak standards and legal requirements.
This position is a permanent position and is based in Lund, Sweden.
What you will do
You will be part of a technically skilled team with the focus on creating, establishing, and supporting a competitive global portfolio of OEM components. You will work closely with our suppliers as well as with many internal stakeholders such as Business Units (BU), Development & Engineering (D&E), Project organization in the clusters and markets and Services.
As Technical Product Manager, you will:
Continuously improve and manage your portfolio
Drive product deployment and standardization in BU, D&E and Projects
Support internal stakeholders with technical and application support
Lead the technical dialogue with suppliers on e.g. specifications
Create and perform internal product trainings
Own the product documentation/information and make sure it is created and well-maintained
Pro-actively make sure that information related to the components is easily available and that technical information is communicated to relevant stakeholders in a structured way
Ensure components are compliant with legal demands and Tetra Pak requirements
Together with Supply Management drive actions with suppliers to improve quality where needed
Who you are
We believe you have a university degree preferably within Engineering or equivalent work experience. To be successful in this role you need to have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably you have previous experience related to mechanical designs involving motors, gears, and mechanical drives. Experience in mechatronics and product management is seen as an advantage. An understanding of processing equipment and processes within the food industry would be an asset. Also, you need to have good computer literacy.
The successful candidate is a skilled communicator and has a structured and service minded approach. You are a true team player and feel comfortable in communicating, verbally and in writing, and networking with colleagues throughout the organization, internally and externally. Managing stakeholders and working in a complex matrix organisation comes natural to you. Since Tetra Pak is a truly global company, fluency in English, both written and spoken is required.
