The position
As Technical Product Manager, TPM, you belong to a group of TPMs positioned within Product Development and Engineering – Global Products. You will be responsible for the technical management of appointed product lines, always backed up by a dedicated team forming the TPM group headed by a team leader.

You will work through a product lifecycle with various questions and challenges such as setting scope for new product development as well as management of existing products and everything in between. To succeed, you will cooperate with Global Product Managers, Business Area representatives, Sales and Global Operations. Hence it is important to be, and like being, communicative, open and flexible in your mindset and way of solving problems.

Today you can either be a technical expert in some field or a technical generalist. Depending on your background, we will offer you an up to six months individual introduction program so that you feel more than ready to take on your new role.

This is your role as Technical Product Manager:

• Technical expert within appointed product line/area
• Ensure continuous improvements focusing on product function and performance, cost-effectiveness, quality, and environmental aspects
• Take part and support the Product Development team with experience during development of new products
• Planning product strategies with the rest of the TPM team as well as with Global Product Managers and Business Area representatives
• Assist Roxtec’s global organization with technical support covering products, performance, applications, certification, manufacturing, competitors, and education/training

The position belongs to the Product Development and Engineering department, PD&E.
Within PD&E, there are several engineering disciplines gathered so we benefit from a lot of cross-functional knowledge. For us, it is as important to understand why things work, as when they do not.


Qualifications

We pay great attention to your personal features and to your broad technical experience.

We believe you hold a Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or have corresponding technical knowledge and experience

English – spoken and written

The post of employment is at the headquarters in Karlskrona, and business travel is included in the role.
