What are we looking for?

As the Technical Product Owner, you will be the the end-to-end owner of the technical development of some of our products, from scoping ideas to writing the technical specs to working with our engineers to make it sure they go live within the set deadlines.

The role therefore requires deep technical knowledge to be able to prioritize and understand how to build new products and features.

You will be working on projects that can include new services and new product features within pricing, delivery efficiency, consumer experience, and operational productivity.

You cannot be a stranger to operating in fast-moving environments. Airmee’s high performance bar requires that you are self-motivated and target driven and technically skilled. This role includes regular communication with Business, Technology, and Finance senior management regarding product and model reviews, progress to goals, and analysis of business impact. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team-oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. We work on many products simultaneously, and a start-up mindset will be beneficial.

What will you be doing?

- Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products and features. This includes creating, managing, maintaining, and communicating product development plans to relevant stakeholders.
- Translates product and business strategy by writing detailed features and user stories for Dev teams
- Collaborates with Architecture and Dev teams to ensure the correct prioritization is factored into roadmap
- Support sales, marketing and other stakeholder teams with product or technical knowledge and additional documentation
- Acountable for product quality and performance in production environment
- Accountable for product team response in event of critical or high impacting bugs, including communications to stakeholders at all levels
- Collaborate with engineers, business development and logistics to move from vision to delivery, by launching a steady stream of feature improvements and new products
- Integrate data, usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements


What skills and experience do you need?

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field; Masters degree preferred
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Team orientation and willingness to roll up sleeves to solve complex, dynamic challenges
- Strong relationships building skills; experience managing stakeholders and partners to drive cross functional programs
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders
