This is a consulting position at Valana until the end of the year which may be extended thereafter.
Our client, a leading Nordic Bank, is now looking for a consultant that will be able to keep up the pace with delivering infrastructure according to DevSecOps standards. The team is allocated in both Örebro and Stockholm. The team you are going to be part of is responsible for the development of the infrastructure of the Bank's new Global Payment Platform whilst simultaneously exploring opportunities to implement modern technologies. The goal is to create an infrastructure solution that optimize development, testing, automation, deployment and IT operation. The Bank works in an agile fashion and according to the SAFe framework.
Today, the team consists of dedicated automation engineers, infrastructure- and database developers. Right now the team works from home but after the summer it will be required that you are able to work at least three days at the Office either in Örebro or in Stockholm. However since the team are a distributed team split between Örebro and Stockholm, travel between the locations will be required. The teams vision is to always deliver the best technical solution with quality in focus. In the team, we are passionate about our work and we care for each other.
Technical Competences Personal Competences
You will be responsible for: Owning and managing the team’s backlog, vision and purpose. A central part of this responsibility is to ensure that the vision and purpose are known and understood by all members of the team and its stakeholders. Maximizing the value outcome of the team, by optimizing backlog content within team capacity. Ensuring continuous improvement, by enabling self-organization, continuous learning and cross collaboration within the team. The agile product owner also ensures stakeholder involvement regarding needs and team prioritizations and is responsible for managing the initiative flow for the agile team. Your main stakeholders are Solution Architects as well as PO:s and TechLeads from the featureteams. You are expected to have deep knowledge within IT and be able to act as a stakeholder towards relevant infrastructure teams within our IT domain. You will play an active role and contribute to the Tribes implementation of DevSecOps.
Technologies for the team span over a wide range: Containers, Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud, Azure, Azure DevOps Server, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, Windows Server, MS SQL, LINUX, Scripting in Powershell, Python
As a person, you are a driven, proactive and committed product owner who has an easy time building trust and collaborating with others and enjoy working in an ever-changing environment. You have a genuine interest in new technology and exploring new things and learning comes natural to you. To be successful in this position, we believe you have good communication skills and good understanding of lean/agile principles.
Language skills
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English
