Technical Product Owner – Betting Client

As a product owner at Kambi you will be responsible for planning and prioritizing product development that will improve our sportsbook service. You will be the person who steers the day-to-day plan for usually one, but sometimes multiple, development teams. All in all, your main responsibility is to ensure that your team spends its’ time on the most valuable things in order to create a great sportsbook service.

In this particular role, we are looking for a product owner with a technical background to work with a development team that owns the foundation of Kambi’s betting client. The main responsibilities will initially include driving improvements of the technical performance of our betting client and owning enabling capabilities such as feature toggling and A/B testing. In the future, you may also be involved in feature development within the GUI of the betting client or drive specific initiatives in other areas of the product.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product backlog, plan, and lead refinement sessions/groomings as the product expert
• Create, maintain, and refine the vision for a part of the product
• Continuously discover, slice and plan what value to build
• Prove that the efforts of you and your development team produces value
• Communicate and educate on your products with the support of communication experts
• Act as a driver for specific product development initiatives
• When needed, engage with customers and users globally

We expect you to:

• Have complete understanding of the product owner role and what is expected of you when working with development teams
• Be comfortable with driving product discovery, which depending on the specific product and need may require vastly different methods.
• Have proved ability to understand complex technical environments
• Have an interest frontend development and building performant clients
• Have an interest in, or experience of, the Gaming Industry and Sportsbooks
