Development & Engineering - Materials & Package (D&E M&P) is looking to complement the Technical Product Owner team. Our mission within M&P is to be the technical voice of our material and package products, securing the performance of our products today and tomorrow. We are a proud team of eleven Technical Product Owners operating both in the programmes and in the line function.


This position is based in Lund. Travels will be part of the job but is estimated to be less than 10% of your time
What you will do
As our new Technical Product Owner for the Tetra Rex and Gable Top (TR&GT) Packages, you will be technical responsible for the TR&GT Packages, securing the technical performance of the products, today and tomorrow.


You will focus on:
Being the technical voice of the product in the TR&GT programmes (being part of the program team working with both development- and product life cycle activities), in governance forums also taking the business view and in the strategic technical plan work.
Working closely with the program team members, the scrum teams, the sub system owners and line functions to secure the total specification ownership during the entire life cycle of the product
Leading feasibility and impact analysis of requests coming in from market companies/clusters/converting factories
Securing the release of documentation to enable sales of correct configurations

Who you are
We believe that you are a person with a lot of of experience preferably from blank fed Gable Top packaging systems, Packaging knowledge and as person you have autonomy, high integrity and trust, strong drive for results and the ability to coach other people.


To be successful in thism, you are experienced in requirements-, verification & validation- and risk management and understands statistical principles used for target setting. Package safety, food-product interaction and quality control principles should also be familiar. You can easily see the holistic view and draw conclusions on technical maturity, where to go short term and long term. You are good at concluding and drawing up directions enabling other people to make decisions accordingly taking the leader role rather than a judging role. Furthermore, you have a good business acumen and have a strong and recognized informal authority as well as a natural seniority. When it comes to leadership behaviours you are hyperaware of technology trends and likes to build capabilities both for yourself but also for others.


To be successful in this position you have at least five years’ experience from Product development, Package development, Machine Material Interaction and/or production of Materials preferably from working with the TR&GT system or equivalent. Preferably you have experience from working with agile methodologies for product development. You probably have a University degree within Material-, Chemical- or Mechanical Engineering and you are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.
