We are looking for a Technical Product Trainer for Volvo Penta who will play a key role in defying and implementing technical product trainings for our business partners and the full aftermarket network for Nordics and Benelux.

Do you want to contribute to increased customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency as well as deliver real business value? Would you like to work in different arenas and with different cultures, one day virtually train Product Specialists or Service Technicians and the week after run an instructor led F2F training on site for Service Technicians in another country? Or develop Digital training material such as short videos or e-learnings, training material or other relevant material needed today or in the future? As the transition to Digitalized training has started it is as well on top of your agenda to smoothly mix the traditional needs with the opportunities of new technology.

Mission/Purpose of the Job
The Technical Product Trainer will lead the execution of Industrial Business segment strategy by securing the necessary activities, solutions and resources for continuous and proactive competence development within the local aftermarket network, according to market needs and priorities. Technical, Process & Tools, including Business Applications are in the scope.

As a Technical Product Trainer, you will contribute to increased customer satisfaction by taking on this key role within the Service Market at the Industrial Business Unit. You will be responsible for your dedicated markets in the Nordics and Benelux, but at the same time belong to a team that jointly owns the entire Industrial Business Service Market Development. As you regionally will work with competence development the role requires travelling, mostly within Nordic and Benelux, but also to other parts of the world.

Main Responsibilities
To deliver technical product related training activities to our Business Partners & Customers/OEMs by presenting the features and benefits of Volvo Penta products & services by training them on our product capabilities
To manage the communication and organization of the training activities, including related logistics and administrative aspects
To contribute to designing, planning and delivering training related content and materials for Volvo Penta Industrial products and solutions in line with local business needs and customer requirements
To assess the competence gaps and define customized training paths in line with customer needs
Monitor, analyze and implement participant feedback into existing training content to meet requirements and to improve training experience
Accountable for the results of the training activities within their market, measuring and reporting on competence level of participants as well as business effects on a regular basis


About you
Working experience as a technical trainer, training specialist or a similar role (Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a strong asset)
You have experience in designing technical course content
You are comfortable with pedagogical process and have interest in effective educational tools
It is an advantage if you have an understanding of the everyday work at dealers and service workshops
You are customer focused and action oriented
You have strong presentation, communication and organizational skills
You are fluent in Swedish and English
You are proficient in navigating around MS Office 365, Teams
Strong supporter of Digitalization
