An exciting opportunity has arisen as Technical Project Lead in our Propulsion & Engines division at Kongsberg Maritime in Kristinehamn. You will be a part of a competent and positive team working with customization of propeller systems in new sales projects. The team are handling everything from development and interface adaptions, to detailed manufacturing drawings and customer relations. We are looking for two engineers who is interested in technical challenges. You should have the right mindset to work goal-focused and with commitment take responsibility for leading the technical parts of our projects.
Key accountabilities
As Technical Project Lead you will have the overall technical responsibility for the delivery of propeller products and be our representative in technical matters. You have a close dialogue with our customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, this to maintain our high standard of delivery and make sure our products will meet our customers unique and specific needs. You work side by side with our Contract Managers, who has the commercial responsibility, and in close collaboration with colleagues from different divisions. In this position, you should find it motivating to have many projects and contacts ongoing in parallel. Some travelling to customers and suppliers worldwide may also be required.
Qualifications and experience
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in engineering
High level of English, both written and oral
Experience from leading projects and/or working as design engineer is meritorious
You are able to
act on own initiative, make things happen and accept responsibility for the results
co-operate well with others, share knowledge, experience, information and support others in the pursuit of team goals
build a useful network of contacts and relationships and utilize it to achieve set goals
