We are in an exciting transformation to enable Scania’s objective to be the leader in sustainable transportation solutions! Scania is currently in the process of establishing a 3rd industrial hub in China. This includes the local IT infrastructure needed to run the application landscape that is needed to support our business processes. This is a high prioritized and strategic initiative on our roadmap. We are now looking for a Technical Project Lead who will manage key aspects of the IT infrastructure design and deliveries for our Scania China industrial establishment.

Your role as Technical Project Lead
You will work in the Global Sites IT Infrastructure team that delivers cross-organizational projects and assignments which typically span several IT departments and have a global reach. We are a group of technical experts and program/project managers that support each other in different assignments and appreciate diversity and inclusion.
The project manager within our “IT Infra Services program” (for China), will lead the planning, design, and implementation of a number of large IT infrastructure components and equipment so that the IT landscape business processes can be operated according to the Scania time schedule for our China industrial establishment. This includes close co-operation with and handover to the Scania local IT organization in China that is being built up in parallel. Your key focus areas will be data centers and site networks where you will work together with e.g., our IT technical specialists, architects, service response, and business application, teams. For sourcing of IT equipment and services, you will have close co-operation with Scania purchasing organization. You will be a member of our Program Management Office (PMO team) that drive the program and report to the program Steering Group.
Location: You will be based in Stockholm Södertälje, with the possibility to work remotely.
Your profile
• Relevant academic degree or equivalent work experience
• Good knowledge of modern IT infrastructure such as network, hosting, cloud concepts, etc.
• You have a technical background and are ready to make the next move into a strategic and team leading position
• Fluency in Swedish and English both oral and written is required
• Good knowledge and/or work experience about Scania as organization is a merit
