Are you our new Technical Project Leader?
As a Technical Project Leader (TPL) in my team you will be working with a great team of engineers, and we are looking for you who like to investigate the unknown, using your skills to lead the design work from ideation through concept generation, development and optimization and deliver ready to use solutions.

In this role you will lead the technical development with a holistic view throughout the IKEA supply chain, all with the purpose of maximizing the benefit for IKEA and our customer. You will lead both internal development projects as well as projects together with our stakeholders in IKEA of Sweden or Core Business Franchise.
In the component business you will lead the development of new innovative component solutions for new IKEA products. While in the retail equipment business you will lead the development of the total retail equipment product.
You will collect and define demands, needs and expectations and you will plan and lead the project to meet goals and gates in the development process. You are responsible for the project deliveries based on all parameters of democratic design and to document the result and learnings in a project report and you´ll support in the strategic range planning and creation of Business and Action plans.
Maybe you have experience as a project leader and you can lead/contribute to development projects, both big and small. You are interested in production processes and cost drivers to lead towards an optimal supply setup. You have a holistic view and a high engagement in the success of your projects and always put the IKEA customer in focus.

The position is in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.
