Responsibilities
As a technical project leader you will work in the inflator team that develops inflators as part of the airbag module. You will lead, coordinate and monitor engineering tasks related to inflator projects and make sure that requirements and project time schedule are met. The role also includes leading internal and customer technical meetings and delegating engineering tasks to engineering and CAE while retaining responsibility for them. You are a team player that has a natural ability to socialize and create networks, both internally and externally.

Job tasks:
• Technical support for Business unit and Department Manager during RFQ process
• Report engineering tasks to Project Manager and communicate need of engineering resources to Department Manager
• Capability of mid and short term planning of project engineering tasks and executing according to plan, with agreed quality level
• Take decisions on certain issues in assigned project / your work tasks
• Use of internal resources for carrying out tasks
• Act when risk / shortcomings are observed and to report this by current routine
• Representing Autoliv towards customer in engineering topics
• Improving standards (work with continuous improvements)

Qualifications
• B.Sc or M.Sc in engineering, preferably mechanical or chemical engineering
• Work experience from leading technical projects
• Ability to take the customer perspective
• Good presentation skills
• Ability to lead and implement new ideas 
• Fluent in English and preferably Swedish
