Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a world-leading manufacturer of high-value-added products in advanced stainless steels and special alloys for the most demanding industries, many within the energy sector. Sandvik’s Stainless Service business is a new organization that is part SMT’s growth initiative, working with technical and production-related services and special, added operations. Our team, working with production-related services, uses our broad in-house production knowledge, combined with close customer collaboration, within relevant areas such as manufacturing trials and customer-driven product specifications, in order to manage successful solutions. We are currently looking for a confident and relation-oriented Technical Project Manager for Sandviken, with the mission to manage projects by interacting with customers and stakeholders. Job Summary
As Technical Project Manager, you manage our customer interface and hold the main responsibility for our commercial success within project management. You lead and inspire a competent team, focusing on customer satisfaction, confidentiality, quality and safety; and an important part of your assignment is to engage the right people, including external suppliers, in a timely manner to ensure effective project delivery. You also work with project planning, ensuring accuracy in reporting of cost estimates and actual costs, and you monitor schedules, provide processes for new projects and participate in market and sales activities. Since we aim to strengthen our business, we also expect you to actively engage in the development of new service offers and the department’s continuous improvement process.

As our customers are based in Europe and the United States, travel will be required in this position.

You have a thorough knowledge of engineering, and experience from managing technical projects and customer interactions is highly beneficial.
