Purpose of the job
In this role, you will lead individuals and teams with focus on delivering key signalling platform solutions for the global market. You will work closely together with other Technical Project Managers, Program Managers, System Architects, Line Managers and specialists within Design, Verification, Safety and Quality.

Responsibilities:
Lead development teams and individuals work together and deliver at their best potential
Define and align scope, goals and priorities for the deliveries together with involved stakeholders
Manage and follow up internal and/or external engineering activities (including Subcontracting or Co Development) in order to reach requested performance, optimise design for manufacturability, testability and serviceability
Plan, control and execute all development tasks related to the deliveries in compliance with the QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments
Manage opportunities and risks with action/mitigation plans
Check and validate all engineering deliverables including verification /validation plan, technical documentation and secure relevant quality control including design reviews, gate reviews.
Take leadership in safety and critical issues within the deliveries, with support from program management, system architects and experts within the relevant fields
Support line organisation on continuous improvements of the relevant standards and way of working


Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master´s degree in Engineering
Hands-on experience leading complex tasks from start to finish
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to challenge opinions and to identify & mitigate risks
Good at building relations and finding common views during challenging situations
Team player’s approach


Desired skills:
Understanding of embedded system development including electronics and hardware, preferably in a similarly complex industry (i.e. aerospace, automotive, medical).
Knowledge of safety critical systems and relevant standards
Experience of working with agile development
Experience of working with cross functional teams
