Technical Project Manager

IPCO is in an intensive phase of upgrading, developing, and improving its production facilities in both Sandviken and the newly acquired site in Forsbacka, Sweden.

We are now recruiting a skilled project manager to strengthen our team of technicians and engineers in Sandviken.

Your main area of focus will be to lead R&D projects as well as continuous improvements projects within areas such as safety, processes, equipment and way of working. You will also guide and mentor teams in project management processes, practices and methodologies.

You will be part of the Belts Division Technology group and report to the Technology Manager at IPCO Sandviken. We provide an environment with fast decisions, high trust in employees and freedom under responsibility.

Your background
We are looking for an experienced project manager with a technical background and several years of experience as a project manager from the manufacturing industry.

You are driven, positive and see challenges as a motivation.

You have strong capability to bring ideas into action with others and you can find functional solutions to complex problems together with Operators, Maintenance, Technology group and (if required) consultants. You promote a culture based on collaboration, problem-solving and creativity.

You have experience in tasks regarding requirement specification, validation, and verification of technical systems and products.

Experience in leading continuous improvements projects within the steel industry is a merit.

Good Swedish and English skills are required.
