Who you are

We need a structured technical Project Manager with a passion for product development and strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are quick to grasp new concepts and create an overview, while at the same time comfortable to get deep into the details of a challenge and possible solution. Your task will be to facilitate decision making and drive progress together with an experienced team of experts, ensuring diverse perspectives.

As the team operates with a lot of unknowns, we are looking for someone whose thrives in a changing environment. You are openminded for new ideas, feedback, and new ways of working.

About the job

We are developing new heat exchanger technology for the energy transition. You will for the first year take over a project from a colleague on parental leave, thereafter, transition into other tasks likely within the same program. The project in collaboration with external partner is of complex nature with need for thermal, mechanical as well as manufacturability understanding. Your primary tasks will be:
* Manage technical scope, secure success in solving the technical challenges to ensure progress towards deliverables
* Project planning and execution in agile project context
* Secure fact-base and all relevant factors considered in decisions and investigations

* Collaboration with key stakeholders internally (R&D, lab, production etc.)
* Communication with customers
* Manage resource allocation and cost together with program manager

What you know

You have a background in engineering, likely mechanical. Experience from mechanical design is advantageous. You have documented results as a Project Manager or possibly as design lead with planning experience in an international environment. Writing and speaking English at a professional level is a must, Swedish or Scandinavian is a strong plus. Having worked in a commercial setting towards external customers is also advantageous.
