If you enjoy structuring projects in a cross-functional environment, this may be your next opportunity! We are looking for our next Technical Project Manager to secure ongoing and planned activities and projects within Epiroc’s Surface Division.
Your mission
As Technical Project Manager, your mission will be to define a suitable sub-project organization, aligning resource allocations with appropriate line managers, and formulate goals, objectives, exclusions, time plan & budget for the sub-project together with the members of the sub-project team.
We expect you to be proactive and continuously review and suggest improvements of the project realization to the Project Manager, as well as handling risks in the sub project. You will also plan, follow up and update the resource need continuously to allow for good planning in the line organization. Throughout the project, you coach and motivate colleagues in the team and secure support for the sub project in the organization.
This is a wide and outreached position working cross-functionally, with many internal and external points of contact, such as sales companies, customers, suppliers and other Epiroc sites around the world.
Your profile
You have an academic degree with an appropriate orientation, or other qualified engineering background. You need at least 5-7 years of experience from technical product development with similar complexity as our products, technical project management or similar. You have good general technical knowledge and skills in project and/or product management. Experience from mobile applications in demanding environments is a plus. Good language skills in Swedish and English, verbally and written is required.
We would like to see that you have a genuine interest in technology and a proven track record of delivering results with good quality on time. As a person, you are a structured, independent, and flexible with strong analytical skills. You enjoy cooperation and communication and have experience coaching and leading team members in a cross-functional environment similar to ours.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
