Technical Project Manager Battery, VCB cabling VCB junction boxes

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Join in building a sustainable future

Scania's ambition is to be involved in driving the development of a sustainable society forward, and the trend of electrification is strong in the automotive industry.

Production and Logistics, P&L, is in an innovative and exciting phase where collaboration with many functions at Scania is necessary to understand what electrification means as we plan and prepare future production. We prepare both component manufacturing such as battery production and the installation of electrical components on the final assembly workshops' series and pre-series lines to create the right conditions to handle the challenges of this technology shift.

As part of creating good structural conditions for the future of Scania and as part of building a good team with good skills in electrification, we are now reviewing the possibilities for insourcing certain cable manufacturing and manufacturing certain junction boxes for our vehicles.

Are you a person who interests you in electrification and other people and wants to be part of the teamwork required in creating a sustainable future? Then we can have the work just for you!

We are now looking for a project manager to strengthen our team.

• Project lead feasibility study, procurement and installation of assembly equipment for VCB cabling and VCB junction boxes
• Based on the PEIP manual, initiate, implement and put in place
• Phase transitions with steering group

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a solid production technical and project management background within P&L and/or equivalent work experience. You have a driving approach, good analytical skills and competence in the work environment at Scania and work environment legislation, problem solving and SPS. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

It is merited to have:

• Knowledge of TFP (Scania internal technical requirements for machines and production equipment) or similar knowledge

You will receive

Cabling assembly, battery production and automated assembly is a new area of expertise for us within P&L, which you will have the opportunity to work with us to build up. Although it is a fairly new area, there is support available in the form of training, focus from management and support from local steering group. Furthermore, you will get a wide network of contacts within P&L and with external parties.
