Mycronic is a Swedish company, which for over 40 years have helped electronics and display manufacturers to stay competitive, profitable and relevant over time. Today, Mycronic have customers and distributors in over 50 countries worldwide. Mycronic is divided into 4 divisions where you will belong to the Assembly Solutions High Flex. The High Flex division offers surface mount technology (SMT) equipment and solutions to electronics manufacturers with a requirement for quick changeovers in production while retaining high rates of utilization. We provide systems for circuit board assembly, both full-line solutions and individual systems for specific process steps, as well as advanced software for assembly process management and factory connectivity. This enables our customers to achieve versatile and flexible manufacturing for just-in-time electronics production. Customers include manufacturers of complex electronics with high levels of added value for industrial applications, aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, medical, IT and telecommunications. R&D within High Flex currently consists of approximately 450 employees globally, of which 170 people work in the development department in Täby. Your development team consists of 4 people, located in both Sweden and Germany and you will have an important role in coordinating the work both in the team and between different departments, understand the product, the customer's needs and set a roadmap for the further development of one of Mycronic's products, MYTower.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
The MYTower is an automated, highly flexible and expandable buffer storage unit for electronic components, designed for deployment near the production line. In the MYTower, the right component is in the right place in a controlled material handling environment – ready for quick and smooth changeovers in your SMT line. The product is of great help to Mycronic's customers who want to increase the efficiency of their factories, reduce personnel costs and digitize their production environment. It is a sought-after product that is used today by everything from small businesses to multinational companies all over the world. You will work on 2-5 projects at a time, that will vary in length and extent. The projects can be quality improvements in both hardware and software for existing products and development of new products. You will be in contact with the customers to discuss their technical roadmap and together with technical experts within Mycronic investigate which technical solutions are possible to deliver. The great focus will be on leading your team in the right direction and coordinating projects between different departments.

Furthermore, we see that you have….


* A BSc or MSc in computer science, electronics, mechatronics or similar
* A few years of work experience in technical project management where you have led projects from start to finish
* Experience of running projects that included several parts of the organization, such as R&D, service, production, etc.
* Very good skills in English and good skills in Swedish
