Here’s what you would do:
As a Technical Project Manager at Oatly, you will be building tomorrow's sustainable factories- driving a shift in the food system towards more sustainable alternatives!
In the role, you'll be responsible for organizing and setup the early stages of large Capex projects, feasibility study and design lead.
The role is reporting to Global Director Engineering PMO and is placed in Landskrona, but also works from home- according to our hybrid working model. International travels are required in the role.
In the role as Technical Project Manager, you’ll mostly be focusing on managing pre-engineering projects at early stage gates, covering both new site expansions as well as modification and improvement of current site operations globally.
More in detail, you’ll be responsible for:
- Site capabilities and site selection
- Input to business case and budget
- Create and setup the technical part of a project to deliver a supply chain system
- Drive Conceptual and Basic design phases
- Coordinate subject matter expert activities and support to project managers in later stages of CAPEX projects
- Long-term plan (LTP) execution strategy, partner selection and input to sourcing strategy, supporting in technical specifications and supplier contract layout
- Capture ideas to business case including cost and time simulation

Does this sound like you?
Here’s the kind of experience, qualities, and approach that we’re looking for in the role:
Senior experience (probably 10+ years) of technical project management, related to larger Capex projects
Experience from the food production/food process industry
Substantial knowledge of setting up early-stage pre-engineering processes and supplier contract layouts
You have robust experience of budgeting as well as setting up and presenting business cases for technical investment projects
Understands how to manage stakeholders and build trust in many parts of the organization in a global matrix setting
Holistic mindset yet detailed-oriented
For you, sustainability, safety, quality and operations principles are core values and a natural part of all considerations
Creating and facilitating a positive and open atmosphere, providing clarity to cross-functional teamwork
Fluency in English both verbally and in writing is a prerequisite.
Master of Science or equivalent
