Technical Responsible Automation Finishing

As part of Tetra Pak Development & Technology organisation, you will be responsible for developing, maintain and implement world class converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions.
We are currently looking for a Technical Responsible (TRA) within Automation Finishing, where finishing represents the last process step in production of packaging material. In this position you will lead and supervise specific high complex Automation design activities, related to IBE Packaging Material manufacturing equipment’s. You will act as mentor and coach for other Automation Engineers, give support and guidance to other colleagues and suppliers in the area as well as participating in strategy and roadmap work.
The position is based in Lund and some travelling will be required (approx. 10%).


What you will do
As our new Technical Responsible you will have the technical responsibility for the automation solutions in Finishing, e.g., Life Cycle Management and plan, conduct and supervise assignments, review progress, and evaluate results. You will also be responsible for planning for given projects or tasks and recommend changes in working procedures. Operate with substantial latitude for un-reviewed action or decision and review progress with management. You will belong to a network of TRA from the other equipment areas.
Other responsibilities:
Develop and improve the performance of our Automation solutions within the Finishing area
Lead Support activities towards our factories
Be a Mentor and share competence with other employees
Design, document and release technical documentation within specified areas according to legal requirements and corporate standards
Lead creation of project and activity plans, cost estimations and work breakdown structures in projects for automation related tasks
Arrange and follow up technical reviews within project deliveries, both internally and with factories, satellites, and suppliers.
Be part of the Finishing team and the link between this and the Automation team
Align TRA responsibilities with the TRA from other equipment areas



Who you are
We believe that you have a solid background with more than 4 years of relevant work experience in automation. You have extensive knowledge and understanding of Automation solutions generally with Siemens’s systems. Experience in Finishing and/or knowledge within Motion systems is considered an advantage and you have an understanding of Industrial IT.
You have personal drive with a clear focus on delivering results with quality. You also understand how to lead and motivate people, having the ability to adjust your leadership to different situations. As Tetra Pak for sure is a global company, you communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
