Technical Responsible - Openings and Caps

To the team Opening&Cap within Carton Bottle D&E we are now looking for a Technical Responsible for openings and caps, with the main focus on pre-fabricated openings and caps.

Carton Bottle has the challenge, within Tetra Pak, to provide competitive alternatives to plastic bottles in key ambient value segments (White Milk, OLDP, JN).Opening&Cap will, with constant focus on cost driven innovation, act as the technical lead and competence centre for the development and engineering of Carton Bottle opening and cap solutions, both pre-fabricated and in-line produced.We are today 11 people in the team with competencies covering injection moulding tool design and manufacturing, opening and cap design, polymers, testing and validation and customer specifications.

In this position you will be deeply involved in both the development of new packages and as well in maintaining commercial packages within the Carton Bottle system and your tasks will be to:

- Plan, lead and drive assigned cap and opening activities, and the resources required, within the area of pre-fabricated openings and caps.
- Build and share a high level of knowledge in pre-fabricated caps and openings characteristics and functionality throughout the entire value chain, from manufacturing to consumer use.
- Build and share a high level of knowledge in manufacturing processes of pre-fabricated caps and openings, including some knowledge in plastic material.
- Build and maintain relations with external suppliers in the area of pre-fabricated caps and openings such as injection moulding tools and assembly equipment.
- Responsible for claims root cause eradication within the area of openings and caps
- Create and maintain the Opening and Cap specifications.
- Product Safety Officer Package, within the Carton Bottle platform to support the organisation in the daily work to achieve safe packages, openings and closures in compliance with regulations and standards to be in line with our customers and consumers expectations.


Kvalifikationer

We believe that your educational background is in engineering, preferably at university level.You will be working in an international environment so you must be proficient in English, both spoken and written.You have a good understanding about package demands, both technical and commercial.

It is a strong advantage that you have previous experience of developing pre-fabricated caps and openings and/or the pre-fabricated openings and caps industry.Experience in working in a technically coordinating and leading role is required.
