Technical sales and support engineer - GeoSuite

As Technical Sales and Support Engineer in Trimble you will be part of a global team, located in Norway or Sweden, together with highly skilled, engaging teams of engineers and product managers.


We are proud of the GeoSuite Software product line, which is one of Trimble Solutions’ most successful product lines in the Nordics. We will continue developing the GeoSuite product line, to suit the industry's high demands for efficient tools to support their Geotechnical work processes.


Being part of the GeoSuite team, you will assure that the product continues to develop, and scale internationally together with the rest of the Trimble Solutions portfolio of products.


We are looking for a colleague (BSc or MSc) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Geotechnical field. We are offering a position in one of our offices Sandvika, Norway or Gothenburg, Sweden, or remotely.

Key responsibilities:
Work with our customers and help them succeed with our geotechnical solutions
Provide customer support on the Novapoint GeoSuite product line and the related products
GeoSuite software testing
Ensure that Trimble is represented in technical working groups, industry trade associations, seminars, etc.
Ensure that market and customer perspective is communicated to our GeoSuite software development
Work with the sales team and agree on the budget with the sales manager
Work with product marketing and marketing communications to help define the go-to-market strategy by providing key product and market insights
Actively participate in marketing activities like conferences, presentations, newsletter articles/demo videos for marketing material
Facilitate software online training and classroom training
Some domestic and international travel to customers and potential sites would be expected.



Qualifications
BSc or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering (other type of background with a relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering will be considered)
2+ years of experience within the Geotechnical field is required
Experience with the GeoSuite products is an advantage
Comfortable holding professional conversations with customers and users
Good people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
Comfortable holding presentations
Good language skills (verbal and written) in Swedish or Norwegian and English
