Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join us in our ambition to focus on the new sales opportunities utilising Icomera’s products and solutions.

This is a flexible role where you get to combine your technical skills with your sales qualities. It is a hands on role where you get to use your creativity and you will play an important part in the sales process.

As a member of the Sales Engineering Team you will mainly work in the following areas:

Engineering:

•Providing engineering expertise to the sales force during bids and the start of delivery projects.
•Collecting and analyzing requirements
•Creating and updating design documents such as system overview diagrams, solution description, bill-of-material, components’ specifications and cost estimates.

Sales support

•Supporting the sales force and partners with technical expertise on Icomera products and solutions.
•Attending technically focused Sales meetings
•Supporting customers and partners with technical issues
•Supporting the sales force directly with technically driven issues

Other

•Providing customer input and trends to the development team
•Training partners and customers in the use of Icomera’s products
•Evaluate third party products and solutions for use in Icomera’s standard offering

We believe you:

•Have a Computer Science and Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree or similar
•Have one to two years of work experience in an Engineering field
• Are a self-driven, innovative problem solver
•Have an interest and passion for network technology and the Linux platform
•Are interested in both hardware and software
•Are fluent in English
