We want to take an active part in this crucial development through helping the industry to deploy world class separation processes where needed. We love centrifugal separation and we’re good at it. And now we want to tell the world about it! We’re looking for a passionate Technical Sales Engineer to drive the sales of High Speed Separators (HSS) for new Green Chemical applications.

The Global Sales group in Business Unit Energy Separation is responsible for the sale of high-speed separator (HSS) systems to the Energy sector. We sell customized solutions where the core component (HSS) is either offered as standalone units or integrated in complete systems.

About the job
The responsibilities include driving and developing the sales in the Green Chemical sector both direct and through interactions with our sales companies around the world. The sales role also includes assisting the Sales Companies in their market planning and taking an active part in sales and negotiations. You will interact with customers for technology conversion, testing and project sales in primarily the renewables, reuse and circular shift area. You will develop sales and marketing tools for the various products that we offer, and do training/learning activities for employees, business partners and end-user customer to secure knowledge and inspire effective work. Sales work is made in close interaction with to our Technology resources, finding great solutions meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

The position will most likely be based in Tumba and will require around 30-70 travel days per year.

Who are you?

We are looking for a technical person with a commercial mind and drive, and a passion for improvements towards a more sustainable future. You have a technical Master or bachelor degree in engineering, such as chemical or other. You are a project sales professional, being able manage complexities and opportunities in varying customer situations. You can quickly establish trust, extract the customer’s need and position our offer right. Your quotations clearly communicate customer appreciated values. You interact with Alfa Laval functions globally, such as Sales Companies, Engineering & Supply, Parts & Service, BU Energy Separation and R&D, all from different countries and cultures.
