As a Technical Sales Manager within the Customer Acquisition team at Micvac, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to revolutionize the ready-to-eat food industry. Role and responsibilities
In this role, your key responsibilities include working with potential new customers to seamlessly integrate Micvac technology into their existing systems, analyzing food production processes, and developing business case models for evaluating alternative solutions. You’ll build and nurture relationships with potential customers, understanding their processes and challenges through on-site visits. Your technical background in production will be crucial in configuring and presenting tailored technical solutions to meet customer requirements. You'll also prepare and deliver proposals, contracts, and quotations, while establishing and maintaining partnerships with suppliers providing upstream and downstream automation equipment that make up complete system solutions.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for successful solution, offer development and delivery. Staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape is a priority, with a specific focus on technical developments. Additionally, you'll represent the company at trade shows and industry events, where you will highlight our products and services. You'll also showcase Micvac solutions, either at our pilot facility, during trade shows, or while working with reference customers.

You will be trained to have in-depth understanding of the production of ready-to-eat meals, particularly the Micvac method, food science, safety, and relevant cooking, packaging, and pasteurization technologies. You should also possess a strong business acumen to drive profitable growth for both Micvac and our customers and be able to demonstrate and communicate these values effectively. Streamlining and contributing to standardize our sales processes, as well as building a network of internal and external partners, are key components of this role. This role involves regular travel to potential customer sites.

Who are you?
To be successful in this position, we believe that having a master's degree in engineering along with curiosity for business, is vital. Success in this role also hinges on strong collaboration and project leadership skills, as well as an openness to new ideas as well as experience of equipment sales, project management, and production engineering. Excellent networking skills, comfort with prospect contacts, and engaging with internal stakeholders are must-haves, alongside maintaining a passion for lifelong learning and continuously building knowledge to stay current with industry trends and technologies.

Previous experience in the food processing industry or food safety management systems is highly meritorious. Furthermore, having excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a requirement, with proficiency in additional languages as a definite advantage for this role.
