Hitachi ABB Power Grids’ High Voltage Products team provides products which help enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact. Our technology leadership continues to facilitate developments in areas such as ultra-high-voltage power transmission, enabling smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency.
Your responsibilities
Review and analyse the RFQ documents and identify the scope of supply, develop technical solution, prepare list of technical datasheets, deviations and clarifications etc.
Design of HVDC/FACTS power quality solutions including Passive Harmonic Filters and call for regular Design Review Meetings.
Responsible for After sales offering for HVDC service enquiries.
Interact with customers and provide technical guidance on design related queries.
Collaborate with the supply chain function, review vendor documentation, prepare RFQs, and provide design related evaluation of proposals for non-standard materials and equipment.
Contribute to design reviews and verify following established QA/QC process, provide feedback on design aspects and make necessary modifications.
Responsible for handling quality issues and coordinate by timely offering necessary RCA and reports to increase the customer satisfaction.
Prepare and check technical articles, product documentations etc. for publication.

Your background
You hold a university degree in technical background (preferably Electrical engineering) and you have experience in similar role
Experience in power system and/or power quality
Experience in HVDC/FACTS system design is a meritorious
You are open-minded and eager to learn new things
You are ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment
You are structured, persistent and well-organized in your way of working and is committed to customer satisfaction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
