As Presales for Network Control you are engaged in sales opportunities from the initial lead, through proactive sales activities and tendering, to negotiations and a closed deal within Network Control SCADA/GMS/EMS/DMS/OMS sales opportunities. You will work closely with the Sales Managers, Proposal team, Product Management and General Management.
Your responsibilities
Identify and qualify new opportunities by using analytic and diagnostic skills to match user requirements to Hitachi ABB Power Grids Network Control solutions
Perform presentations and demonstrations of the solutions
Responsible for the strategy and design of the technical solution of our offer
Participate in the bid preparations
Participate in the development of demo scenarios for demos, workshops and proof of concept tasks

Your background
Master of Science in Engineering or similar, preferably in the power systems field
Previous experience with an electric utility and/or with a provider of advanced applications for power systems software
Broad IT/OT knowledge with experience in 3rd party system integration and IT security
In-depth understanding of the use of advanced applications within electric utilities, preferably in the field of SCADA/GMS/EMS/DMS/OMS
Excellent written and presentation skills
Fluency in English. French, Spanish and other languages are a further advantage
The ability to make the complex simple and show creativity in your approach to problem solving
A professional and self-motivated driver of business as well as technology
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time
An analytical team player with the ability to lead and follow as need requires
