Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Technical Security and Safety Specialist to join our passionate Facility team in Skellefteå.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
The Technical Security and Safety Specialist will work with our technical security and safety systems such as alarms for burglar, fire and evacuation but also surveillance cameras and door passage systems. As Technical Security and Safety Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality of our security and safety systems at Northvolt Ett.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inspect and maintain our security and safety systems including hardware.
Prepare planned maintenance schedules for the security and safety systems.
When necessary suggest upgrades to the security and safety systems.
Plan service of critical installations according to established requirements.
Contribute to the development of facility/maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
Together with the rest of the team, being a key player to develop and maintain a safe work environment.
Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
Facility maintenance/systems technician
2+ years of experience with responsibility for security and safety systems.
Good English knowledge
Good computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Previous experience in maintenance or Facility Service, minimum 2 years
Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish
Specific Skills/Abilities
Good technical knowledge about fire alarm system, burglar alarm systems, evacuation alarm systems, door passage systems, CCTV/surveillance camera systems
Skills in computer aided facility maintenance
Proven skills in working with security and safety systems.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Structured with ability to see the overall perspective
