At Johnson Controls in Mölndal, we have an exciting opening for you to join us as Technical Service Engineer as part of our Fire Suppression & Building Products division. What you will do
In this role as Technical Service Engineer, you will join our Fire Suppression & Building Products division, where we specialize in a wealth of products, applications and systems designed for fire protection to industrial and offshore segments.
Your responsibilities can be summarized into three key functionalities – Technical Services, Training Services and Design Services. In short, you will provide professional sales- and technical support on the correct design, specifications, installation and maintenance of our products and systems. In addition, you will facilitate on-line and live training sessions targeting both internal and external audiences, training these on application, design, installation and maintenance for all our solutions. Finally, you will help develop valuable design services, which result in basic designs, solutions and calculations for the correct use of our products and systems in a wide variety of applications.

Expected travel is 20-40 days/y.
How you will do it
·       Offer technical support to our EMEA Sales organization and external stakeholders such as customers and suppliers.
·       Contribute to the facilitation of theoretical and practical training sessions on products, systems and applications, codes and standards, new technologies and software for an internal and external audience.
·       Design and calculate special applications upon request from Sales and customers.
·       Maintain/update CAD Engineering tools and database content management.
·       Advice and support in the development of services and sales supporting tools and materials.
·       Provide user support and feedback for the correct application of design and calculation software.
·       Actively participate in new product development projects, as well as provide services and technical input for the execution of large technical projects.
What we look for
Required
·       Bachelor degree within mechanical engineering or similar background through education or experience.
·       Knowledge and/or experience working with contractors in an industrial setting.
·       Knowledge and/or experience with fire protection technology and/or mechanical applications.
·       Strong drive for customer interaction, service, communication and presentation.
·       Good verbal and written command of English.
Preferred
·       Certified within fire protection as well as for advanced training on relevant international codes/standards within fire protection.
·       Knowledge and/or experience with IT tools such as CAD, MS Office and SAP.
·       You thrive in a large organizational setting with systems and processes, and you have an agile mindset.
