Your mission
At Epiroc we are leading the charge towards sustainability in mining through battery-electric, zero-emission equipment and doing our best for our planet. You as Technical Service Engineer will play a crucial part in enabling this transformation, through your knowledge and support of our battery machines. You will have the opportunity to join us on our journey towards this future market and work with the latest technology!
As Technical Service Engineer you will play a key role in the contribution to the product portfolio success by securing competence in our Customer Centers and provide field information to drive continuous product improvements. You will work with field support such as field testing, customer technical support, conduct technical training and perform commissioning. In this role you will get the opportunity to meet people and get to know different cultures. You will drive the quality improvement work in cross functional forums focusing on continuous product improvements and play a key role in the contribution to the product portfolio success by securing competence in our CC´s around the globe.

Your profile
We are looking for a person with a helpful and humble attitude, sense of urgency and willing to walk the extra mile. We see that you have good organizational and planning abilities, effective communication and presentation skills as well as solid problem-solving abilities and trouble shooting skills. You have very good technical expertise and experience working with tunneling and mining drilling equipment, good computer literacy and good report writing skills where the English language is an essential part.

We believe you have a relevant technical education, preferably on bachelor university level within the electrical field or equivalent through experience. You have a genuine interest in the latest technology, and it is also important that you have the ability to maintain high productivity in a changing work environment. It’s an advantage if you have experience from working with battery driven machines. We value committed team players who like to work with new technology, share knowledge and to continuously learn and develop. We are working with different machine types, and in different kinds of projects, which means we have to be flexible and always promote that there is a better way.

Location and travel
This position will be located in Örebro, Sweden and the role may require extensive international travelling.
