Job Brief:
We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer to provide in-field support and market information collection for both mass production products and new products under R & D and marketing phases.
Travelling is needed from time to time to meet customers. And for better improving the product, your help is needed also in sorting and updating the user feedback, customer advice, and the common questions from dealers and end-users to R&D engineers and the product management team.
Ultimately, your job will be an integral part of our efforts to ensure profitability and business success.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve customer questions regarding correct installation, software usage, calibration, and operation via phone contact or in-field support.
- Sort out the common problems from customers and report to R&D team for analysis and resolution.
- Collect the product feedback and new demands in the market for better product improvement.
- Conclude and edit the product manuals, installation notes, FAQ, or public knowledge articles.
- Regularly provide product training courses to dealers.
- Assist the R&D team to do the local test for the new product or function.
- Well execute any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
Job requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- IEEE, automation control, computer-related major is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in technical service.
- Experience in surveying and Mapping, intelligent hardware, the robot-related industry is preferred
- Business travel across the countries is required, familiar with the cross-border culture;
- Logical thinking, good communication skills, patience, self-motivated, strong learning ability, High efficiency.
- Fluent in English is necessary and other local language skills is preferred.
