Axis is looking for the right person to fill an open position as a Technical Services Representative (TSR) in our Technical Services team within our Sales organization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO? As a TSR you will be in contact with both end users and Axis partners to handle technical support cases for the German speaking region (DACH), who you support in both spoken and written German. We support the customers over telephone, support tickets, and through chat.
As a TSR, your focus area will be on installation and configuration support in mostly smaller installations and often around our AXIS Companion product line. You will furthermore handle cases for any type of installation and product that involve broken product replacement.
Besides having a technical foundation, you profoundly need to understand the meaning of service and taking good care of customers. Customer care is one of our biggest focuses!
Your main tasks will be to:
Provide both administrative and technical support via phone, chat and a Web portal ticket system to end-users, resellers/partners, and distributors Work with a case driven system where you have the final responsibility towards the customer for concluding and closing your cases At a professional communication level, maintain a good dialogue with the customer throughout the resolution of a support case Join efforts with the sales office in your region to ensure both after sales and pre-sales support for small installations Help customers in creating RMAs for the assigned regions and deliver first class administrative support Provide regular feedback and suggest pro-active actions about common technical issues and processes related to small business installations and services.
At your disposal you will have senior technical services engineers, a team of product specialists, and all your other technical services colleagues providing you with product specific assistance and general help in the role.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? As a Technical Services Representative, you must have excellent communication and problem solving skills with the eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Proactive and self-motivated, you’ll also be committed to constantly seeking new ways to improve the customer experience. To be successful in the role you need to be energetic and self-propelled with a passion for technology with the ability to thrive in a fun, collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 1 year of customer support operations experience Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Excellent time management and organization skills Relevant experience in technical assistance and/or in administrative position Understanding of networking Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS & Office Pack Knowledge of applications such as for video viewing, recording, or editing is a merit Must be able to work well with others as part of a team Excellent communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written
TECHNICAL SERVICES TEAM The Technical Services team is responsible for the support in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
