Technical Services Specialist Orc Software Nordic is looking for a Technical Services Specialist for its service team in the Stockholm office.The team currently has a staff of nine, of which three persons are employed in the technical support department.As a Technical Services Specialist, your job description will include technical support of the Orc system, operation and installation of Linux and UNIX servers, configuration as well as installation and troubleshooting of Orc's software.The position also involves ongoing customer support, first and foremost with staff from the IT departments of Orc Software's customers. The successful candidate must be experienced in using Linux and/or UNIX.Knowledge of TCP/IP network and database administration is merited, as is a university education within technology/IT or the equivalent.The position requires good English skills, both oral and written.As a person, you take initiative, are a self-starter and are quality conscious.You enjoy working in a group and forging customer relationships.Naturally, you are a problem solver with good analytical skills. Orc Software uses the latest and most advanced technology in order to continually develop new technical solutions to meet customer needs.In order to succeed in this position, it is important that your ambition is to further develop your skills in the support role and that you find learning about the latest technology to be stimulating.
