For the current job opening, we are looking for a Technical Site Manager for the Nordics division. You will be based in Gothenburg for one year with regular travels to Stockholm. This position demands equally a strong presence on site and strong ability to document and perform office work. You will be accessing a construction worksite on a regular basis. The essential duties and responsibilities for this job are connected to the implementation of ITS & electromechanical systems within infrastructure projects (road & tunnel):
•Become a contact point for SICE and SICE’s representation in front of clients and other stakeholders on-site.
•Supervise subcontractors making sure work is produced as planned (production, order & protection,environmental practices, etc.)
• Review, handling and supervision of subcontractors documentation (arbetsberedning, incident reports, dagböcker, etc.)
• Environmental management duties on-site – safety rounds, material suitability and gathering documents by subcontractors (diaries, chemical list, vehicle list, ID06, installed materials, etc.)
• Health and Safety management duties on-site – safety rounds, double check and chase documents by subcontractors (diaries, chemical list, vehicle list, ID06, installed materials, etc.)
• Quality management duties on-site – Make sure that quality practices are properly implemented by subcontractors and produce double checks when necessary.
• Represent company in KMA meetings and other project level meetings. Report to head.
• Produce routine documentation related to KMA. E.g., Risk analyses, monthly reports, work preparations, assembly instruction documents, plans, etc.
• Develop and assistance to prepare project-related documentation such as project plans, reports, etc. (under project manager’s supervision)
• Reception of materials and verification prior to installation. Log it to system.
• Administration and daily work on client’s platforms for documentation, notifications, etc.
• Sporadic support for KMA activities to other projects belonging to the Nordic branch
The non-negotiable requirements for this job position are:
• University Education as an Engineer
• 10+ years’ experience working as a Technical Engineer
• 10+ years’ experience working in Tunnel Infrastructure
• 10+ years’ experience working with MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
• 5+ years’ experience leading working on-site
• Proficiency in English with excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Strong digital skills – most of the reporting and documentation will take place through digital platforms.
• Extensive use of MS Office package.
