Our Opportunity
The Digital Transformation Project "Lighthouse 1" targets the “Select & Buy” part of the customer journey (i.e. from first customer interaction to signed contract in the Ericsson Sales Process).
In order to be successful and stay ahead of competition, we need to develop our digital capabilities to influence the customer’s product and technology decisions at an early stage in the selection process.
We are now strengthening our team and are looking for a Technical Solution Architect who will be responsible for defining and implementing technical solutions.
Job responsibilities include analyzing current issues and recommending solutions to develop best practices, and determining technology architecture and ensuring it aligns with overall business needs.
Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.
You will be responsible for:
• Analyzing technology environment
• Creating an architecture implementation plan and developing a risk assessment on related applications
• Participating in the technology selection and leading all aspects of the process for enhancing technology solutions
• Review and approve requirements specification with regards to feasibility within the existing functional modules
• Responsible for ensuring the technical integrity and consistency of each solution at a certain stage of their lifecycle.
• Defining infrastructure and application environments together with DevOps and Test lead.
• Preparation and execution of technical deployment
To be successful in this role, we believe you should have the following qualifications and skills:
• Master´s degree in Computer Science or similar.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions.
• Preferably you have developer background having worked with multiple technologies and programming languages. Hence, you understand the technical challenges that software engineers are facing today.
• Have business knowledge in how software or hardware sales-, delivery- and aftermarket support-operations normally are conducted.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage with partners at different levels.
