You will be part of the Engineering organization in HVDC, Hitachi Energy, Ludvika, Sweden. The department HVDC Engineering Plant Electrical Design manages the delivery of auxiliary power system for the HVDC stations. Design of this system is complex and depending on information from both internal and external stakeholders. System design, selectivity studies, equipment specification, cable and cable transit systems are part of the scope. The system we manage includes equipment such as: Auxiliary Transformers, Medium & Low voltage switchgear, Diesel Generator Systems, Batteries, UPS and cables. To be able to deliver the system in a safe and reliable way we are now searching for the Technical Solution Owner for 2 positions:
Auxiliary System and Equipment Design
Plant Electrical Engineering

Be owner of base design
Design rules and guidelines
Interface to other departments
Drive continuous improvements
Failure investigations
Implementation of lessons learned
Enhancement of base design and processes
Technical Mentorship

Your background
We highly value your personality and see that you have a positive and pro-active mindset and are a team player but equally comfortable working alone with different tasks
It is also important that you have a strong interest in technology and willingness to share your knowledge with others
You hold a university degree in engineering or similar
Multi-annual professional experience of Auxiliary Power Design
Site experience is highly desirable
Earlier Design Lead role is also a plus
As you will be part of an international company it is important that you are fluent in spoken and written English
