The entire HVDC business is rapidly expanding, and the HVDC TB Engineering organization is naturally expanding to meet the high order intake of projects and tenders. The global TB department focuses on Building Information Modeling, Life Cycle Information (Asset Information Mgmt.) and Digital Twin Solutions. Our Service business, which we want to connect to our digital engineering solutions, has exceptional potential. We have a tremendous opportunity as an organization to leverage our internal and external data in terms of 3D BIM models, C&P (Control & Protection) data, high-quality documentation, analytics and much more. We must now ensure that all of this can be integrated into IdentiQ™, the Digital Twin solution for Hitachi Energy Grid Integration.
IdentiQ™ is a digital replica of our physical assets that enables for real-time monitoring, condition monitoring, simulations, documentation, BIM 3D models, training, asset optimization, and much more.
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Technical Solutions Owner and Architect for our Digital Twin solution, IdentiQ™ to join our team at HVDC Global Engineering. You will be responsible for driving the technical strategy, design and implementation of IdentiQ™, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Furthermore, you will be the bridge between the Engineering function and technical stakeholders within R&D to ensure a smooth handover of IdentiQ™ releases that you have been involved in. Together with the Product Owner for IdentiQ™, you will be the ones that will ensure the success of IdentiQ™ within HVDC.
You will drive cross functional investigations of new features and their design as well as writing technical documentation and guidelines. You will work closely with software development team and drive the feature development as well. When relevant, you will interact with suppliers and customers to demonstrate how IdentiQ™ can be integrated and handed over to customers.
To flourish in this role, you must be innovative and insightful, with an understanding of how software can be used throughout the business to develop entirely new solutions for our customers, and you must enjoy collaborating with other global cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end technical ownership of the IdentiQ™ solution, including architecture design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
Design scalable and robust architecture solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product ownership, engineering, sales, product management) to define and prioritize functional requirements and technical enhancements, ensure seamless integration of IdentiQ™.
In applicable domains, work with Digital R&D weekly and align with their SAFe Product Owners, project managers and architects to prioritize R&D work.
Work closely with the HVDC Product Owner for Digital Twin Solutions to ensure that the Product Owner strategy is enabled by a good technical solution.
Train & educate stakeholders and provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the IdentiQ™ platform, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, and actively drive fault investigations.
Serve as a subject matter expert by representing IdentiQ™ in internal and external events, and own, maintain and release base material such as instructions, guidelines, base models, base reports, version releases and other related docs.
Your Background
You have a university degree in a relevant engineering subject, preferably Computer Science
Proven expertise (5+ years) in designing and implementing complex, scalable software solutions.
Experience with relevant technologies such as IoT, cloud computing, big data, and analytics.
Experience in the power sector, if you have experience in HVDC it is an advantage.
Product Management or Product Owner experience is highly desirable.
Good understanding of how software works across multiple disciplines such as engineering, analytics, service and other.
Strong analytical skills, excellent writing, and communication skills in English with experience of C-level business discussions
Good knowledge about commonly used document control systems in our industry

In this role, you can either be based in Ludvika or Västerås in Sweden.
