Technical Specialist / Architect - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Technical Specialist / Architect who is experienced in Decision Support Solutions, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (DW Design and Architecture).

What you'll do:
● Management of Data Lake for unstructured and structured data and a new Data Warehouse based on modeling in Data Vault.
● Mapping existing and future needs of our stakeholders and addressing the authority's priority needs in a cost-effective way.
● Develop a recommendation for future architecture and address which tools and technologies the authority should invest in going forward.
● Coordinating with other departments within an organization to ensure that new technology solutions will meet their needs.
● Working with other IT staff members to implement new systems or make changes to existing systems.
Who you are:
● Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer science, or equivalent area of education and must have relevant working experience.
● 10+ years of experience in Decision Support Solutions, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (DW Design and Architecture).
● Have experience with DW/BI architecture and development of technical roadmap for at least 3 different companies/organizations.
● Good knowledge of data platforms from on-premises to cloud-based, such as Oracle Exadata, Teradata, Snowflake, Data Bricks, Redshift and/or Azure Synapse.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
