Let us describe the challenge we offer
Product Area Customer Interactions is responsible for globally delivering and maintaining Digital Products supporting customer touchpoints such as Test drives, Event management, Space operations, and the overall digital experience in our Polestar Spaces where we interact with existing, and new potential customers. Apart from delivering digital products for both internal and external customers we also establish new Polestar Spaces globally, support them and deploy new functionality to existing products.
This position is located at our Lindholmen office in Gothenburg. We understand that work-life balance isn’t easy, and of course, welcome our employees to work flexible hours and from home a couple of days per week if needed. We believe in empowerment.
What you'll do
As a Technical Specialist at Polestar, you will be a creator, transforming Polestar's digital vision into working solutions by technically establishing new Polestar Spaces globally. You will, together with your team, support existing and new Spaces and deploying new digital products as well as improvements to existing products in our Polestar Spaces and at events where Polestar participates.
The Space Digital Establishment team is responsible for achieving the following:
- Swiftly diagnosing and resolving problems through discussions with end users
- Effectively managing the process of problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up
- Providing expert technical support to Retailer staff and stakeholders
- Interacting with various internal teams at Polestar to:
- Troubleshoot applications and services together with other Digital Product Teams and mainly their Software Engineers
- Specify requirements for applications and services running on hardware in Polestar Spaces
- Provide technical expertise to business stakeholders in relation to our retail experience
- Escalating issues to third-line support through established Incident Management processes
- Fulfil end-user requests for hardware and software needs
- Ensure that all Polestar Spaces, globally, are always operational
- Develop retail experiences in close collaboration with suppliers
- Prepare and coordinate the deployment of digital equipment when establishing new Polestar Spaces
- Survey and establish the unique technical needs of each Space. This includes specific networking needs, solutions, and device
Who you are

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- A high level of general IT competency, including proficiency in Linux, , network and infrastructure, scripting, SaaS services, PC, Mac, Android, iOS
- Experience in IT Operations and Support services
- Experience with the ServiceNow ITSM platform
- The ability to stay focused and effectively prioritize between work tasks during times when the demand is higher than normal
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite of tools, such as Jira and Confluence, is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
