Technical Specialist within Global Test

Job Description
As Technical Specialist within Global Test at IKEA of Sweden you will be responsible for the operational activities for our external test labs regarding our physical products. You will work in close collaboration with both internal stakeholders as well as external ones such as our external test lab to help them understand IKEAs direction.
The task of the assignment is to analyse and assess our external test partners and to ensure that new test methods are connected to approved labs and to IKEA’s capacity needs. Your responsible will be to Round Robin activities to resolve operational tasks and deviations, both with external and internal (ITCS & ITL) labs. Furthermore, you will be involved in the following activities:
Communication with IKEA approved test labs (Methods, meetings, audits, RR)
Close contact with the Requirement specialists in the different areas
Taking part in audits when we see deviations in external test labs
Host network meetings with internal and external test labs
Contribute to the strategy for our external test labs

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have experience from working with product development, requirements, and verification processes and who´s having good knowledge of requirement development. When it comes to knowledge in verifications principles and methods you can call yourself a guru. Because you know, you are going to be the one who´s showing the way forward for our external partners as we have described before. To be able to do this you have further on:
Very good knowledge of verification principles and methods
An analytical and objective mindset, that you use in your decision making
Business oriented mindset
A determined, productive, and proactive approach
Ability to communicate and build relationships in a good way
