Azelio is a Swedish public company in the game of improving the world. We have a solution to one of the biggest challenges facing humankind today: How to supply affordable and renewable power on demand where it is needed at all hours of the day. Combining a game-changing energy storage technology with emission free energy production, cleaner than established renewable technologies and at a lower cost than fossil alternatives.
Azelio is in an extensive expansion phase with recent installations in Sweden, Morocco and in Abu Dhabi. Several MOUs has been signed globally during 2019 and 2020 and two commercial contracts have been signed, in Sweden and in Dubai with installations during 2021. Azelio’s award-winning technology has received substantial global attention for its unique ability to store renewable energy and provide affordable and clean power on demand all hours of the day.
The first commercial orders will be delivered in 2021 and we need to strengthen our Product Delivery team with motivated and talented people who thrives in an international environment, fully embracing the challenges of establishing a world class delivery organisation in the renewable energy sector.
Therefore, we now offer exciting opportunities for experienced Technical Supervisors to develop and lead the mechanical installation, commissioning and start-up of our products on sites worldwide, where you will work closely with the Azelio Operations team, customers, local partners and sub-contractors.
We need you who has passion and experience to drive these tasks, whilst being collaborative and pragmatic in the day-to-day business.
Your position
You will be responsible for delivery of Azelio Products to customer with focus on HSE, Quality, Time and Cost – from arrival on site to completion of system and handover to customer.
- Plan, manage and follow-up work on installation site with regards to safety, progress and resources
- Lead the allocated workforce in a professional manner and always be a good ambassador of the company
- Responsible for ensuring work within a given area of responsibility is conducted in accordance with the company's quality, environment and safety system (HSEQ)
- Responsible for ensuring work is carried out in accordance with applicable drawings, instructions and documentation related to the delivery of the work
- Responsible for actively collaborating with other work teams and personnel on site
- Responsible for documentation of executed work
- Responsible for continuous transfer of lessons learned to the rest of the organization
You will also be an integral part in the strive of making Azelio a world class organisation and preferred supplier within the renewable energy sector.
- Ensure work is conducted in accordance with the company's quality, environment and safety system (HSEQ)
- Ensure that changes and deviations are dealt with according to company guidelines
- Ensure that order specific lessons learned, and risks are well received and processed by relevant parts of the organisation
- Participate in the continuous development of the company's processes, systems and infrastructure
You will be based in our office in Gothenburg or Åmål and report to Manager Product Delivery.
Frequent international travel and on-site presence is required.
Your profile
You have experience from a similar role and position, proven leadership skills and a track record of worldwide deliveries and internal cross-functional work. You also have a great interest of working with people in an international environment, interacting with stakeholders and creating a productive work environment.
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferable with electrical background
- Experience from working with international projects and clients
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude
- Committed, self-starting, taking responsibility
- HSE focus – no harm to people, property, or the environment
- Good computer and documentation skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written). Additional language skills are considered a plus
