[ TIBCO Software is one of the world's leading Enterprise software companies that provides innovative IT infrastructure software integration (SOA), Business process management and Business Intelligence/Enterprise Analytics software solutions.[ We have a $500m turnover, 2000 people in 50 countries and over 3000 major corporate clients.[ [ In forward-thinking IT departments around the world TIBCO is synonymous with extreme performance, scalability, and reliability.47 of the world's top 100 companies, including giants like Ned Bank, Delta Air Lines, FedEx, Merrill Lynch, and Telecom Italia are TIBCO customers.[ Scope of role: As a Technical Support Engineer you will provide technical support to all customers using the TIBCO Software products all over the world, via telephone and e-mail.[ As part of the role you resolve technical questions and research new questions and work out appropriate solutions, you will work closely with the Engineering team to ensure that every problem will be solved in a timely manner and with the best service for customer satisfaction.The technical support must understand the customers needs and problems to ensure the highest level of service.[ You post enhancement requests, to document and track customer interest in adding particular methods of features to the software.You verify and document customer reported bugs in the database and write technical tips and FAQ articles for posting on the support web site.[ Requirements: Academic level, minimum a Bachelor's degree in Technical Engineering or Computer Science +3 years experience with various operating systems (Solaris, Linux, Windows) +3 years experience working with/on RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, DB 2) +3 years experience with various application platforms (Apache Tomcat, BEA WebLogic or Oracle Enterprise Manager) Demonstrated team player with ability to learn complex technical materials and have a passion for real-time problem solving.Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills Fluency in English [ Experience and interest in programming and Web design is an advantage.[ If you are an energetic, positive and proactive person with a high level of self-motivation and fits the description above, then please send us your application no later than October 18th 2009.
